Welcome to the JuxPrint Memory Bank

We built JuxPrint to make it easy to Just Print Heritage—to put the real stories, games, and everyday magic of our childhoods onto apparel.

Our first designs came from our own Ghana childhood memories: Peelolo sprints, Chaskele battles, Ampe circles, Tire toys, Aggrey carts, Beach football, and more. But Ghanaian and African childhoods are bigger than one person’s story.

That’s why we created the JuxPrint Memory Bank.

This is your corner of JuxPrint:
 – A place to share the games you played
 – The inventions you built from nothing
 – The streets, festivals, and scenes you can still see when you close your eyes
 – The “if you know, you know” moments you wish more people understood

We’ll read through your stories and:
 – Highlight our favorites in future blog posts and emails
 – Occasionally run polls and raffles for standout ideas
 – Seriously consider selected memories as inspiration for future JuxPrint designs

  How to Share Your Memory
 1. Scroll down to the comments.
 2. Tell us:
    - What you did
    - Where you were (city/neighborhood, if you’re comfortable sharing)
    - Who you were with
    - What made that moment special
 3. Add any name we can call you by (first name or nickname is fine).

  What We’re Looking For
 - Childhood games (known or forgotten)
 - Invented toys and DIY creations
 - School, street, and market moments
 - Family and festival scenes
 - “Current vs Past/Future” stories where you’ve seen things change for the better

Memory Bank Raffles & Polls
 From time to time, we’ll:
 – Pick a shortlist of memories shared here
 – Run a poll so the community can vote on their favorites
 – Run a raffle among the top ideas or among all valid entries

 Prizes may include:
 – Free JuxPrint tees or hoodies
 – Discount codes
 – A shout‑out when we drop a design inspired by your memory
Full raffle details will be posted whenever we run one, so you’ll always know the rules.

Respect & Ground Rules

Thank you all for sharing your memories already—this is exactly why we built the JuxPrint Memory Bank. 🙏🏾

Paul – If you’re reading this, what’s one specific moment from that youthful time you’d love to see on a tee or hoodie? A game, a street, a festival, or a small everyday scene?

Nudzor – If you had to pick one of your memories for a design first, which would it be—and can you describe one clear moment from it? Where you were, who was there, and what happened?

David – “Maame na Papa under a coconut tree” is such a strong image. What mood would you want the design to carry—playful, shy romance, serious, funny?

KofiD – Your Aggrey cart, Ampe, Chaskele, and beach football memory reads like a whole collection by itself. With your permission, we’d love to use a shortened version of your story in a future Memory Spotlight post (and mention you as “KofiD”). If you’re okay with that, please comment again saying: “Yes, I’m happy for this to be featured.”

Apietu – thank you for being here with us.

George – I can totally see that goalpost on a shirt in the GH IYKYK Series Collection: two cement blocks, two feet lined up across, and re‑measuring after “fraud detection.” 🙂

Over time, we’ll be picking some of these stories to highlight in separate blog posts and, where it fits, to inspire future JuxPrint designs.

Keep them coming—your memories are the heart of this movement. 🧡
Just bring the story. We’ll Just Print Heritage.

I really love the memories it brings back to me….like playing football in the street using slippers or stones as goalposts, riding faulty abandoned car tyres with a long stick placed in the middle with some dirty oil inside the tyre for free movement, using plastic bag and running down the field trying to make it fly like a kite…

George

Really impressed at the quality at that price point, both the material and print, I will recommend JUXPRINT, my new go to for personalized wear

Apietu

I love the prints and the memories it raises in me. Brings me back to a youthful time in my life.

Paul

Some of my favourites: 1. Mama & Dada 2.Playing empty tin & cans as drums 3. Running against the wind with cloth tide to waist, like a parachute, etc…

Nudzor

This appears to be a quality brand. My childhood memory I would like to see on a T-shirt is Maame na Papa standing under a coconut tree 🌴. A T-shirt that speaks volumes of romantic childhood.

David

This brings back memories. Growing up in Accra, the street was our playground and imagination was our toy shop.

One memory is the Aggrey cart races we used to organize. With a few bearings and wooden planks, we built what we thought were Formula 1 cars and raced them downhill while the whole neighborhood watched and cheered.

Add in Ampe circles, Chaskele battles, and beach football with makeshift goalposts, and every afternoon felt like a festival.

What made it special was the community—no phones, just laughter, dust, competition, and pure childhood joy. If you know, you know. 🇬🇭✨
